IFAC MENA Strategic Planning Workshop
IFAC Professional Accountancy Organisation Advisory Group invited LMC to speak on behalf of Emirates Association for Accountants and Auditors and present the case study of Association's journey, supported by the LMC team, of implementing the IFAC Strategic Planning Toolkit.
June 2024
In June 2024, IFAC has launched its Strategic Planning Toolkit at its Africa Strategic Planning Workshop in Mauritius co-hosted with the Pan-African Federation of Accountants. LMC was invited by IFAC to present its work with the Emirates Association of Accountants and Auditors on implementing the Toolkit to create a future-ready Strategic Plan.
May 2024
LMC used IFAC's new Strategic Planning Toolkit to develop a Strategic Plan and M&E Framework for the Emirates Association of Accountants and Auditors, the first PAO in the world to pilot the Toolkit.
March 2024
In early 2024, LMC designed and implemented an Investigation and Discipline Framework for the Emirates Association of Accountants and Auditors to support the PAO on their path to IFAC membership.

In the brochure, featuring opinions of prominent experts in the accountancy profession, LMC provides its perspective on why PFM reform is important and why we are so passionate about supporting the PFM agenda.

In 2023 FRC issued a call for comments on the amendments to the UK Corporate Governance Code. LMC provided feedback on specific areas of audit, risk and internal control.
